Physical and Environmental Demands: Visual acuity and manual dexterity are needed for required paperwork. Frequent talking and hearing are required when communicating with co-workers, families, and other service providers. Physical demands are light with walking, standing, and occasional stooping.

• Maintains safe and clean working environment by complying with procedures and rules and regulations.

• Protects clients and personnel by adhering to infection-control policies and protocols, medication administration and storage procedures, and controlled substance regulations.

• Document client care services by charting client and department records.

• Schedule clients to see the Physician and Psychiatrist.

• Ensures and maintains client confidentiality and adheres to HIPAA regulations.

• Medical administration record, disposal of discontinued medications and training of non-license personnel in medication administration.

• Provides feedback and education to all clients in collaboration with management team.

• On-call responsibilities.

• Provide medication training to Substance Abuse Technicians and Peer Support Specialist to assist the clients with their medications.

• Serve as a liaison for the Physician, Psychiatrist and Pharmacy.

• Complete phone screenings.

• Assist with Health and Safety policy development and implementation.

• Prepare Plans and follow-ups in accordance to CARF Standards.
